Currently, your Community tab is a link to direct students out to the community host of your choice. For most courses, we see Slack used successfully here.

Once you create your Slack community, go to your Cohort Settings and find the Slack URL field where you can add a link to your community. This doesn’t need to be Slack.

You identified a PORTAL OPEN DATE. When the student portal opens, students will be prompted to add a few basic pieces of information including their name, location, and social links.

Everyone’s details that they enter into the sign in form will show in the Network section. If the number of enrolled students does not match the number of students listed in the Network section, it means they have not completed the steps to join the portal and fill out their information.
